About Anthribidae of the World

This is a website developed by Samanta Orellana, PhD Candidate in the Franz Lab of Weevil Systematics and Evolution at Arizona State University (ASU). The site is designed to display the diversity of the group across the world, featuring specimens available mainly at the O’Brien Collection (ASUCOB, Dr. Nico Franz and Dr. Sangmi Lee), now part of the Biocollections at the ASU Biodiversity Knowledge Integration Center. Other collections that have kindly provided specimens are: University of Kansas Natural History Museum (KUNHM, Dr. Zachary Falin), American Museum of Natural History (AMNH, Dr. Lee Herman), New Zealand Arthropod Collection (NZAC, Dr. Richard Leschen, Grace Hall).
